Sikre front end

Heres a link which explains Access security, although I'm not sure its answers your question.

There are a few videos on YT which I think can help you.

I have seen both videos but none of them shows how to disable the right click menu on the ribbon.

I'm sure that the second video does that.

Just disabling right click isn't going to make your database tamper proof. If you can enable it again then your users can too, so you have to do more than just disable the right click to stop users tampering, but at the same time allowing you or other developers to enable it again.

Making your database secure isn't an easy (one click) process, there are a number of things you have to consider. Such as having different permissions for different users. So I'd suggest you maybe look at another video from same guy first.

I have seen all of Steve Bishops 79 videos, about 19 hours :-), and I have done all that he describes in his videos.
I may have found a solution, if you set startFromScratch="true" in the USysRibbons table and then build your own custom ribbons then the right click option one the ribbons is no longer available. So I am working on that right now.

"and I have done all that he describes in his videos."

and didn't that give you what you wanted, IE Stop users using right clicking to get to settings etc?

Yes the user cant right click on the forms, but the problem is that they can right click on a ribbon, like the HOME or PRINT ribbon, and then from there get into settings and change whatever the want.
