Access viser ikke alle mine billeder i 'Report View'.

Hej.

what format (BMP, IMG...) are the pictures in and is it possible that those not visible in report have same format and also which is different from those which are visible?

Hi terry.
The pictures are jpeg format.
The only difference is the picture size. Can it be a problem due to the picture size.?
We are talking about a huge amount of pictures at appox. 5 mb.

I am sure its due to the very large size. Let me have a play around to confirm.

I've made a very simple example with only 2 records one with a picture under 4 MB and one more than 7 MB and I can see them both in Print Preview. So its not the actual picture size although it may be the member of pictures.

Have you tried filtering the report with only one record to see if you can see the picture?

Hi terry.
I have resized all the pictures now, and the problem is now gone. :)

I have 3500 pictures, with the total (in windows) size of 7,5 Gb. The resize compromised the pictures to 133 mb. It might have been a problem due to the memory.

Thank you for replying to my problem... ill send you the points.

That's very likely the problem. An Access dB has a max size of 2Gb and although the files are on disk to be able to render them in the report it will need to get them into the dB. That's my thinking anyway.

Maybe an idea to keep a small and original version of the files of course.
