Formatere til fabriksny?

i langt de fleste tilfælde vil der ligge en seperat partition på din harddisk ... denne vil indeholde installationen.

dvs under boot (post) trykker man et tastatur kombination også kan man lave en geninstallation.

andre producenter lægger ansvaret ud til kunderne, dvs når man opstarter maskinen første gang skal man SELV brænde sine installations cd/dvd ud.

hvis det er sidst nævnte situation har du et problem og skal derfor ringe til producenten for yderligere informationer.

F3 skulle klare det :-)

Nedenstående er copy/paste fra MSI:

If your unit is working but is experiancing some problems such as: missing file errors, some error messages are popping out from start, unit became slowish or any other software related problem, then you can solve most of such problems using MSI recovery manager tool.

IMPORTANT:
!!! Before using the recovery tool please back up any important data of your notebook !!!

There are 3 ways of using the tool, for older and XP models: from within a hidden partition on your hard disc via 'F3' function from Boot-up (the full recovery manual can be found in the download section), second is from the recovery DC/DVD that you can find in the accessories box the thid for newer models (2008+) by burning a recovery DVD. The recovery manager is very easy tool and it requires just few clicks to activate it after which it does everything automatically. The process last about 10-15 mins (longer when run from CD/DVD) and it simply restores your notebook to manufacturer settings. More details including how to run the process step by step can be found in a file on your desktop named 'recovery manual'.


Notebooks that came with Windows XP:
Both; 'F3' and recovery CD does the same (it restores from same copy of image of Windows XP with pre-istalled drivers and bundled software) but we suggest to run it first from CD. Just pop the CD in, restart your machine and the unit should automatically start the recovery manager from the CD. If not then shut your unit down, start it up and straight away keep on pressing the 'F11' key which will give you a 'Boot Manager'. It's a list of devices from which you can start your notebook. Using the arrow keys please highlight the CD/DVD drive and hit 'Enter' key. Once within the manager please read the information carefully. To start the process use your mouse/touch pad to click on the 'Restore Disc'. A black window will appear with message 'Restoring now...[Y][N]?' please hit 'Y' key. The tool will restore the unit for you automatically. Upon finish the unit will need to be restarted.

If for some reason you cannot use the CD then you can use the same tool from the hidden partition. If your hard disc is not faulty or the files on it are not corrupted badly then you should be able to run it fine. All you have to to is straight after powering on your unit press and hold the 'F3' button. After a while you will see the same tool as described above. Instructions are the same as well.



Notebooks that came with Windows Vista:
For Vista units we suggest to use the 'F3' function due to the recovery DVD is just a Windows recovery media and it does not restores drivers or bundled software therefore for drivers you will need to use the 'Drivers, utilities, manual' CD. Straight after powering on your unit press and hold the 'F3' button. Please hold the button until you will see the recovery manager (a blue screen on the center of black background with 3 big gray buttons). The notebook will seem not to react to the pressing of 'F3' at first but you should release the 'F3' button only when you will see the recovery manager. This may take a minute or two. Using mouse/touch pad please choose the 'MSI recovery manager' button and read the information that will appear. After which the tool will start restoring the unit for you automatically. Upon finish you will get a summary message and the unit will restart.

To run the tool from the Windows Vista recovery media DVD (please note it will restore just Windows Vista, excluding drivers or bundled software) please follow the instructions as for starting the tool from the Windows XP recovery CD explained above. Once in the manager follow the instructions as for the Vista 'F3' recovery method above.


Later notebooks that came with Windows Vista/Windows 7:
The third method of recovery is by creating a recovery DVD's. This action is a pat of the set up process when you turn your unit for the first time. The installation process will install Windows OS, drivers etc. after which it will ask you if you would like to create recovery DVD's. Some models will have included in the accessory box 2 blank black DVD for this purpose. All you have to do is put a blank DVD into the DVD drive and follow instructions on the screen to create your recovery media. Once completed you can use it to recover your unit whenever needed. We strongly recommend not to skip this recovery DVD creation process and complete it before fully using the machine as we won't be able to provide a recovery DVD for such machines.

Mange tak for hjælpen, men jeg har desværre ikke løst det endnu.

Jeg får aldrig den der "recovery manager" frem men derimod en "system boot manager" på en sort skærm, hvor jeg kan vælge hvilket styre system jeg vil starte med.
Jeg kan også gå ind på flere indstillinger med f8 hvor jeg kan vælge noget system boot, men det er vist ikke det rigtige.

Jeg fik engang ny hardisk i computeren, kan det have noget med problemet at gøre?

Jeg prøvede lige på min bror's msi megabook med F3 teknikken. og der kom der i et par sekunder den her boot manager op og derefter kom jeg til den korrekte blå recovery skærm.. øv at min computer ikke kan det :)

Hvis den har fået ny harddisk i, som du evt. selv har sat i, så er den helt sikkert ikke med recovery partition.

Hvis du tillige selv har installeret og formateret via Vista DVD, så er det nog muligt at du har fået slettet denne partition.

Hvis derimod at den har været til rep. på garantien og fået ny HDD monteret, så burde den være med recovery partition.

Jeg fik den lavet til reparation.

Så er harddisken kørt op med et image og deri er også den skjulte partition.

Om der så er sket et eller andet, så du evt. IKKE kan bruge F3 recovery skal være usagt, men når harddisken er lavet på garantien, så skulle den være OK.
